yo design students
yeh, firstly, you/we should figure out what we want. maybe run it thru playgroup, but seriously, we probably dont have to be too serious. from the sound of it we can get a gang of 15 together, and apply for a pub crawl, see where it goes from there. so do we have to get 15 signatures on paper or what? maybe we should plan what we want to do now, but only put it into motion a few weeks before next semester. theres no real point in starting a design students society unless uni is on. we might even be able to loook into getting equipment that we could share....i dunno. playgroupit? whens the next plygroup wamyo.?

Yeah it would be good to put it through playgroup, as it all depends on how big we want it but yeah a few activities are the best way to get people involved. I think it's best to aim for the Industrial design community at the moment untill some groundwork is established and it's sucsessful. But yeah a pub crawl aimed during orientaion week would be a good start. That would be cool getting equipment to share. Ben's right though we just need a few ideas and well get more organised closer towards uni starting.
yeah total agree with that ben and haley, plan it and then put it into motion when the time is right. I think julian had started to put together a list of pubs for the pub crawl, but haven't heard anything from him about it.
