One of the projects that was porposed last year by a group of ID students was to get a Design Students Society(DSS) started this year to help promote more interaction between the different year levels and provide the Industrial Design students with some more social events. To kick start the DSS a Pub Crawl is being organised and the proposed date is for it to be held on the 3rd of March starting at 5pm. We hope to get people from all levels of the ID program to attend, including lecturers and staff - so is there anything already organised eg: first year camp, that might mean we have to change the date of the pub crawl?
Later on when all the deatils are finalised we will be wanting to get the word out to as many within the ID program as possible - would it be possible to have an email sent out via the ID program mailing list?

Just recieved an email back from brain - he says that to his knowledge the 3rd will not clash with anything else - and when we finalise the details he can send out a bulk email to all in the ID program.

Come along do some stuff - have some fun - kick start this initiative - I need helpers
people that can manage groups etc
the activities include building shelters - lots of cooking and event design - and lots of little things that you guys are more than welcome to get involved in.
The corporation game games would be a good activity - let me know how many can make it soon
